The builder's Card is an integral part of the STATREG data register, which contains information on employer, competences, qualification and other useful information of the person. The builder's Card is the initiative continued from the implemented Build UP Skills ENERGOTRAIN project. The Builder's Card is issued for a period of 5 (five) years. Upon expiry the card shall be reissued. The Builder's Card shall not be changed if person passed assessment and gained new competences or qualifications or changed the employer. The card is equipped with a chip.
Use of the Builder:
* Scanning QR code by a smartphone or tablet, the Register's publick information on the owner, his competences and qualifications, employer or the nature of the employment can be reached.
* To check the validity of the card QR code for the card shall be scanned.
* The card can be used for access to the site by connecting the chip to the system used. It can also be used for accounting of working hours (depending on the company's internal rules).
* The card can be used for identification of the card holder as a builder.

Lithuanian Construction Association (LCA) together with VGTU and other partners has implemented Build UP Skills ENERGOTRAIN project and as an outcome of the project, there was set up a system for assessing and certifying the competences of construction workers for construction of A and higher energy performance class buildings. LCA Council has decided to develop the system under name STATREG and set up a Department for Competence Assessment, which shall be responsible for system development and coordination. STATREG is a voluntary certification system for construction workers that assesses individual knowledge, skills, and abilities. The purpose of certification is to recognize individual competence to perform a task or work. The certification process is carried out under the same conditions and rules for LCA members and non-association members. The certification service is provided to all legal entities and individual persons of the construction sector.
Data base of competences, education, trainings and certification of construction sector professionals and blue-collars
On September 28, 2015 The Government of the Republic of Lithuania officially recognized the initiative for the digitization of the Lithuanian construction sector. On November 3, 2015 Lithuanian Ministry of Environment approved a working group for the implementation of the Lithuanian construction sector digitization initiative. training activities planning: organization of training sessions
All courses are developed as workflow based, high-density courses, in where students develop their different, collaborative and industry standard skills. Courses are built up as e-learning courses with constant support from your fellow student or teacher. Courses develop various learning skills, including the ability to ask questions and answer to somebody's else question. Courses involve continuous peer instruction. Course duration is usually 16 weeks, but thanks to flexible schedule, everybody can select their own pace. There is only one key deadline to follow - Week 12.
