In the program, students can expect the following: 1. Free access to the learning platform - all program participants have access to the BIM courses on the Learn BIM platform. At the end of the course students can become a certified user! 2. Conferences and trainings - as part of the program, studentsa have the opportunity to participate in various BIM conferences across the region and beyond, but also be part of the organization of new BIM student conferences organizers are preparing. 3. Free student licenses - in order to learn is through practice, students will have access to the best BIM software solutions on the market.
The latest student program that offers all students the opportunity to step into the AEC industry and capture the knowledge, skills and competitive edge for all future BIM professionals. Travel, meet colleagues and students from neighboring countries and gain experience by holding education at the best colleges.
large-scale qualification and training scheme for Croatian blue-collar building workers
Following the CROSKILLS project, in Croatia training programmes were developed for blue-collar workers on the building envelope (through the BUILD UP Skills Pillar II project CROSKILLS II). The training will start in the beginning of 2017. Thus, through CROSKILL II project, a large-scale qualification and training scheme for Croatian blue-collar building workers that are already on the job market is established.

training activities planning: procedures for the identification of requirements
The course "Basics of Building Information Modeling (BIM I)" addresses the concept of BIM both in theory and in practice (in terms of building projects). In addition to a brief explanation of BIM processes, the focus will then be on the implementation aspects of BIM in buildings. The course consists of a total of seven modules, six of which are of a very practical nature, examining the role of sketch (volume model) in model-based design, transferring it to the pre- and basic project stage and then further refining it to volume extracts, 4D / 5D simulations, and of course, project visualization / animation.
The course requires active participation in the e-course (tests, participation in forums, independent work, etc.). Contact hours occur only during the first weeks of the semester. This subject is a new curriculum subject but the same e-support replaces (to a lesser extent) homework EPJ0051 Building Information Modeling (BIM) e-support for Spring semester 2019. The course is accessible as a guest, but in order to complete the course it is necessary to declare the subject (regular student and / or TUT Open University). The course enrollment key is shared during the first contact hour.
Through the use of BIM, architects / engineers create a digital 3D model that incorporates data in terms of both physical and functional characteristics. Above all, BIM's ability lies in collaborating, in which architects, engineers and general contractors share coordinated models to explain how their input fits into the project as a whole, which in turn helps the various parties to work more effectively.
training activities planning: elaboration of training contents
VGTU, Lithuanian Construction Association (LCA) and other partners has implemented Build UP Skills ENERGOTRAIN project and as an outcome of the project, there was set up a system for assessing and certifying the competences of construction workers for construction of A and higher energy performance class buildings. The technological descriptions for trainings, competency descriptions and tests for assessing and certifying the competences of construction workers for construction of A and higher energy performance class buildings prepared by VGTU are the integral part of the project outcomes, and used after project close-up for the STATREG system.
